A banneton is used to rise your sourdough before baking. Our banneton's are made from rattan and come with a washable linen liner. The shape of the banneton determines the shape of the bread when baked. The result gives your sourdough an artisanal look with characteristic rings. You can use the banneton with or without the linen liner.
