A dried starter stores indefinitely until you are ready to activate and convert into a live starter. If you purchase a live starter this product requires care on arrival.
A sourdough starter can give you infinite loaves of sourdough, the jar is not included. Our sourdough starter is 15 years old. With each feed of flour and water, it is used to flavour and rise your bread in place of commercial yeast. Please note if you purchase this product it requires care on arrival.
